Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library

Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein

When Kyle Keely learns that the world’s most famous game maker has designed the town’s new library and is having an invitation-only lock-in on the first night, he is determined to be there, bu the tricky part isn’t getting inside the library, it’s getting out. Kyle is going to need all his smarts, because a good roll of the dice or a lucky draw of the cards is not enough to win in Mr. Lemoncello’s library.

The Good

Kyle and his friends decided to work together to get out of the library. They are kind, and help other teammates when they’re in trouble.

The Bad

This book doesn’t have anything bad in it.

Ages

Ages 8+ is a good age for this book.

My Take

I enjoyed Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library. It’s another fun book where you can solve clues with the characters. Kyle’s entry gets chosen even though he didn’t put much work into it at all. The author could have come up with a better way for him to be a part of the library sleepover.

Once you’ve finished the book, check out the note Chris Grabenstein puts. Once you solve the riddle, email him and put the answer in the comments below! For the second book, click here.
